I received my records today. 3 months after I first requested them. They all appear to have been done at the same time. It’s pretty clear. And some of his notes are lies. He has me signing a “informed consent” for each treatment but only provides one document where my signature appears. I must say I do not at all recall signing this document and it appears to have been doctored. (no pun intended) But giving Schaut the benefit of the doubt and assuming the document is legit, it has ALL the procedures listed…. So according to this document, I signed off on procedures that had yet to take place.
It also has a disclaimer where spontaneous pneumothorax is a risk that I would be taking. First of all, I have been told by 7 different doctors over the years that I cannot have nerve blocks done because of that specific risk. This is something that comes up all the time and I am very aware when it has. Dr. Schaut and I discussed this many times but he never ONCE presented that as a risk. It was the complete opposite. In fact I specifically asked him about how deep the needle goes and he said it was all surface and I had nothing to worry about. He assured me that a collapse was NOT possible. I would NEVER agree to a procedure where there was even a remote possibility that my lung could collapse. This document in my opinion is false and I intend to follow up on it.
He also claims in his notes that during the needling in which my right chest muscle was damaged, I tolerated the procedure well and it was not painful. This is an outright lie. In fact I was in so much pain it brought me to tears. I had another bad reaction to it 3 days later and discussed this in great detail with the doc via email and subsequent visits. This was also the last time I had the needling done. He even said that the pain he caused should be temporary and over time would get better. It has not.
Not to mention the dates on these procedure notes are all wrong. I have receipts, pharmacy records, & emails that prove otherwise.
It is very clear Dr. Schaut is trying to cover his ass legally. He should have been a little more careful in his deceit because I now possess documents that I believe to be fraudulent and I intend on proving it. There is alot I intend on proving.
I wish I could share all the horror stories I have heard about this moron but I agreed to the people who emailed me that I would keep it to myself. Let’s just say I know more about David John Schaut then I ever wanted to know. He is a despicable man who has abused his power as a doctor on many occasions. He has violated patient’s privacy and broken numerous medical ethics guidelines. There are even allegations that Dr. Schaut has had inappropriate contact with children. How he was able to practice medicine in Colorado after everything I have heard is also something that needs some serious investigation.
I intend on making sure that he never practices medicine again. I intend on suing him, his insurance company, and possibly the board that gave him his license. I also want to make sure any potential new patients or clients understand the kind of man they are dealing with. I have phone calls into the Colorado ski resorts and will let them know to watch for this possible predator. Dr. Dave likes to teach skiing during the Winter as a side job. I emailed one of the local news networks and will use my various media contacts to get this story a little more exposure. Maybe 9 wants to know.
Dr. Schaut appears to have left a long line of victims during his career and it is time to expose him for what he is and what he has been doing. He picked the wrong MFer to do wrong.
You know.. It should be said, that by doing this in the manner I have chosen I take the risk of some sort of retaliation / retribution by the doc. It is clear to me that this guy doesn’t play with a full deck. I don’t know what he is capable of. You never know what a man might do when his world comes crashing down around him. So I want to make this known publicly now…. I have NO enemies. Should something befall me and I should end up hurt. You know where to look.
